The dust-wrapper is a copy of Steven Spurrier's map of Wild Cat Island, while the end-papers are Spurrier's map of the whole lake.

No price was indicated on the wrapper, but it had the following: "Special Club Edition for World Books Members only".

The title pages include the Altounyan dedication "To the six for whom it was written in exchange for a pair of slippers".
